Quyen, 23, is a professional model with ideal measurements: 1.72m, 82-61-91. She won the Miss Photo title in a beauty contest held by Vietnam Women’s Magazine in 2005, Miss Charity and Humanity title at the Miss Tourism Queen International 2008 pageant, the Best Traditional title and the top 15 contestants of the Miss Supernational 2009 in Poland.

According to Elite Vietnam, Quyen worked with fashion designers for over a month to prepare costumes for this competition. She will wear night gowns designed by Quynh Paris and traditional costumes by Thuan Viet, who designed her winning traditional costume at the Miss Supernational 2009 pageant.

Miss International 2010 will take place from October 21 to November 7 in China. Vietnam sent its first contestant to this beauty contest in 2002. Vietnam’s Pham Thuy Duong won the Miss International Image title in 2007. In 2008, Cao Thuy Duong also won this title.

Miss International is an annual international beauty pageant. It is the fourth largest beauty pageant in the world. It was created in Long Beach, California, USA in 1960 after the departure of the Miss Universe pageant to Miami Beach.

Also called a "Festival of Beauty" and even the "Olympics of Beauty", this pageant is not based on looks alone. Contestants are expected to serve as "Ambassadors of Peace and Beauty", showing tenderness, benevolence, friendship, beauty, intelligence, ability to take action, and, most importantly, a great international sensibility. The ultimate goal of the Miss International beauty pageant is to promote world peace, goodwill, and understanding.

The five largest beauty pageants in the world include: Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss Earth, Miss International and Miss Tourism Queen International.
