VietNamNet Bridge -
Ha Long Bay has fallen to third place among 77 nominees in the race to become one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

Viet Nam’s famous rock-and-water destination had fallen to second position on June 30 after holding the lead for the first four months.

Cox’s Bazar beach in Bangladesh has taken over the lead in the vote for New World Wonders being held at www.natural7wonders.com. India’s Ganges River is in second place.

The voting will continue until August, after which a panel of judges will create a list of 21 candidates from which people worldwide can vote for their favorite wonder.

The website belongs to the New Open World Corporation.
