VietNamNet Bridge - The “hotel with best service quality and most credited travel business 2007” title, selected by tourists, defined the owners after one month and a half voting from April 15 to July 1, 2007.
The “hotel with best service quality” title belonged to Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang Resort and Spa and the “most credited travel business” title belonged to Sasco Tourism and Service Center.
The titles will be awarded for Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang Resort and Spa and Sasco Tourism and Service Center on July 5 in Sofitel Plaza Hanoi Hotel.
This is the first time a vote in the tourism field has been carried out though collecting opinions from domestic and foreign tourists. In the first phase from April 15 to May 20, 2008, nearly 40,000 surveys were spread in famous tourist attractions in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Moreover, the organizing board received more than 1,000 contribution ideas through hot line: 1900 5858 06.
The first phase ended with 10 hotels receiving the most votes: 10 hotels include Caravelle, Ben Thanh Rex, Palm Garden Resort in Hoi An , Horison in Hanoi, Vinpearl Resort and Spa in Nha Trang, Furama Resort in Danang, Grand in HCM City, Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang Resort and Spa, Sofitel Metropole Hanoi and Melia Hanoi.
The 10 travel businesses receiving the most votes are Saigontourist, Guom Lake Diethlm, Ben Thanh Tourist, Fiditour, Vietnam Tourism in Hanoi, Hoa Binh Tourism and Peace Tours, Vido Tour, Huong Giang Tourist, Hanoitourist and Sasco tourism and service center.
The title, implemented on the www.vietnamtourism.com.vn for a month, attracted the participation of hundred thousands domestic and foreign tourists. It is part of the annual top ten hotels and travel businesses award by the Vietnam tourism sector.
