Mobile and broadband Internet services to be inspected

VietNamNet Bridge - The Post-Telecommunications and IT Quality Management Agency under the Ministry of Post and Telematics has announced it will make a surprise inspection of the quality of mobile phones and broadband Internet services.

 

The inspection will be performed as many customers have complained about the poor quality of telecom services recently. Mobile subscribers haven’t been able to make calls while the speed of broadband Internet services hasn’t reached committed levels.

 

The inspection will be conducted at six mobile phone networks, VinaPhone, MobiFone, Viettel, EVN Telecom, S-Fone and HT Telecom, based on nine standards such as the rate of successful calls, the rate of failed calls, the quality of calls, the accuracy of charge calculation, the rate of calls with inaccurate calculation of charges, customer care services.

 

The quality of broadband Internet services will be inspected based on seven standards, including average data loading speed, average using capacity, customer care services.
