An author is presenting his idea at the Vietnam Idea Trading Floor.

VietNamNet Bridge – The fifth trading session of the Vietnam Idea Trading Floor will be organised in HCM City on July 7, 2007, announced the organising board of the floor on June 25.

Ten ideas for trading at the upcoming session are being assessed by scientists and businesses.

According to organisers, authors who want to present their ideas at the fifth trading session must have a complete model and sign commission contracts.

Of around 100 transactions made on the idea trading floor, around 15-20% sees problems so in case that one business wants to invest in an idea, the investor and the idea author must sign a contract at the trading floor under the witness of the organisers.

At the upcoming session, the organisers will announce an annual prize called “Vietnam Idea Award 2007”. Accordingly, 54 outstanding ideas will be presented this award. The total value for the award is more than VND1 billion (US$62,500).

To offer Vietnamese ideas for sale abroad, the organising board has cooperated with Japan’s Astmil group to launch the website www.ytuong.jp to make connections to 500 young Japanese companies which want to invest in Vietnam, especially in the fields of media services, advertising, transport, etc.

The organising board is also surveying the second international market, the Singapore Creative Market.
