Dr. Do Quy Son of the Viet Nam Atomic Energy Commission was speaking at a conference on the development of nuclear power in Viet Nam held in Ha Noi on Dec. 27.

He said the needed fund would be used to train about 650 experts, for for the country's first nuclear power plant and for the long-term National Strategy for Nuclear Power Development.

Human resource training plays a decisive role in Viet Nam's peaceful nuclear power strategy which was designed to raise the ratio of nuclear power to 11 percent of the country's power generation by 2025-30.
