VietNamNet Bridge – Viet Nam recorded their second win in Group E qualifiers at the U-19 Asian Football Confederation Championship 2010 in Thailand, after they beat Bangladesh 1-0 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The only goal came from a floated free kick from the left wing that Minh Tuan headed home in the ninth minute of the match.

The early goal gave the team confidence for the rest of the first half.

Viet Nam had several chances to extend their lead, but lashing rain foiled Viet Nam's expansive, attacking play.

After the break, Bangladesh attempted to get back into the game but failed to equalise.

Viet Nam U-19s won their first match against Laos 4-1.

In Group E's other matches, Thailand defeated Laos 1-0, while South Korea thrashed Macao 5-1.

With six points, Viet Nam, who are second in the table, will meet top team South Korea tomorrow, November 6.

The Viet Nam U-19s, who had ample preparation for championship qualifiers, competed in several tournaments, including featuring as the replacements for the Iran U-21s at the recent International U-21 Football Tournament held on October 9-18 in Viet Nam.
