Bridge -- The technical sub-committee of the Asian Indoor Games 2009 held a meeting on April 1, presided over by Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Danh Thai.

So far, the charters of 20 sports and one performance sport of the AIT 2009 have been submitted to the Asian Olympic Council (OCA). OCA and the federations of 21 related sports will contribute their opinions about the charters and send them back to Vietnam.

It is expected that Vietnam will send the charters to 45 countries and territories which will take part in the AIG 2009 and receive registrations of athletes from these countries and territories.

The Technical Sub-committee of AIG 2009 has inspected sports houses which will host AIG 2009. New equipment will be installed in 2008 for trial use in pre-AIG 2009 tournaments held by Vietnam.
