Hanoi top medal tally of national contest

VietNamNet - Hanoi topped the medal tally of the national pencak silat contest, which ended in Da Nang on April 27.

Hanoi artists won a total of seven gold, two silver and four bronze medals. They won a gold in the fight event by Thanh Quyen in men’s 85 kilograms and six gold medals in demonstration event.

The People’s Police team were second with three gold, six silver and a bronze medal. Thanh Hoa were third with three gold, a silver and three bronze medals, despite having four-time SEA Games champion Nguyen Van Hung, three-time SEA Games champion Trinh Thi Nga anmd two-time SEA Games champion Ding Cong Son.
