The seminar provided participants with an opportunity to exchange experiences in the clearance of bombs, mines and unexploded ordnance devices. The participants also initiated a number of programmes supporting humanitarian and economic development.

As part of the seminar, the participants also visited several Vietnamese provinces affected by bombs, mines and explosive remnants of war such as Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien – Hue.
