An acute diarrhea patient in Hanoi

VietNamNet Bridge - Acute diarrhoea broke out in Nam Dinh province after just a month's containment.

Phan Van Thang, director of the Nam Dinh Centre of Preventive Medicine, on July 8, said that 109 people in Nam Dinh had been tested positive to cholera. The people are mainly in the districts of Nghia Hung, Xuan Truong and Truc Ninh, and Nam Dinh city.

The Nam Dinh Department of Public Health has asked all localities in the province to take tough measures in order to prevent the epidemic from spreading to other localities.

These include the promotion of the education of local people about the danger of the epidemic and measures to prevent it.
