Saigon to add three Tet flower markets

VietNamNet Bridge - Flower markets serving this New Year (Tet holiday) will open on January 30, 2008 and close on February 6, announced HCM City.

 

The HCM City Department of Transportation and Public Works has submitted its plan to establish additional Tet flower markets to the People’s Committee for approval.

 

The department intends to open flower markets at three central locales, including 23/9 Park, Le Van Tam Park in District 1 and Gia Dinh Park in Binh Thanh District.

 

Every year ornamental flowers from orchards in HCM City, the southwestern provinces, Hanoi and Da Lat City are widely sought after.
