Crown Prince Bao Long

VietNamNet Bridge – Crown Prince Bao Long, the son of Bao Dai, the last king of Vietnam, died in France on July 28, at the age of 71, according to a death notice in Le Monde newspaper.

The crown prince died ten years after his father, Bao Dai.

He died without any heritor so his youngest son, Prince Bao Thang, 54, receives all assets and treasures of the Nguyen Dynasty that the crown prince had owned since the day his mother, Queen Nam Phuong, died in 1963.

Apart from Prince Bao Thang, he has three younger sisters who have the same father but different mothers, princesses Phuong Mai, Phuong Lien and Phuong Dung, all of who are living in France.

Crown prince Nguyen Phuc Bao Long was born on January 4, 1936 at Kien Trung Palace in the Hue royal palace. He was nominated as a crown prince in March 1939.
