VietNamNet Bridge – The evidence seized from the five illegal casinos in HCM City and the southern city of Vung Tau is initially estimated to be around VND7 billion ($437,500) and over $3 million.

 

The People’s Supreme Procuracy has approved the prosecution against and arrest of eight people for gambling and organising gambling games.

 

They are Truong Quang Hoa (Vietnamese American), Steve Lam Sang (Malaysian), Zao Cheng Cheng (Chinese), Jang Kwang Ho (Korean), Le Thi Hong Nhung (HCM City), Le Anh Tuan (Hanoi), Tran Minh Phuc (Vinh Long) and Duong Quang Huy.

 

Those people have admitted to organising gambling games inside clubs for foreigners at hotels and restaurants in HCM City and Vung Tau city.
