Three criminals in a women trafficking ring were captured

Following a report by the Hau Giang province police team on the morning of January 10, they are now striving to investigate the ring. Earlier, four individuals suspected of involvement in the case were apprehended for further inquiries: Huynh Thu Giang (aged 44 of Hau Giang province), Tran Thi Kim Loan (aged 41 of Can Tho city), Tran Anh Dung (aged 35 of Lam Dong province) and Ngo Thi Hue (aged 53 of Can Tho city).

According to reports, this ring has been in operation since 2004. They often lure women from provinces along the Mekong River Delta. Due to their limited social understanding and poor family background, these target groups easily fall into the trap of ridiculously concocted stories which promise better lives with stable employment at high salaries and happy marriages with wealthy Malaysian businessmen.

Many victims then find their dreams smashed once setting foot in the foreign country: Many are forced to work as prostitutes.

According to a reliable source of information, the ringleader of the trafficking ring is a Vietnamese who is now hiding in Malaysia.
