Quang Nam farmers earn VND50-100mil per year

 

The central province of Quang Nam now has 407 profit making farms, according to the provincial People’s Committee.

 

Many farm owners earn between VND50-100mil per year. These include Tran Vinh in Tien Phuoc district, Vo Van Minh in Thang Binh district, Nguyen Duc Son in Dien Ban district, Phan Van Thiet in Nui Thanh district, and Huynh Dang Khoi in Hiep Duc district.

 

The farm owners have created jobs for thousands of local workers.

Quang Nam has 6,499 Heroic Mothers

 

The central province of Quang Nam has recently granted the “Vietnamese Heroic Mother” title to 209 mothers, of whom 25 are still alive.

 

Quang Nam has so far granted the title to 6,499 mothers, 845 of whom are still living. Individuals and organisations nationwide have given care to 820 mothers.

 

Book on Party general secretaries published

 

A book called the ‘Biography of Secretaries General of the Communist Party of Vietnam’ has been published to mark the 100th birthday of the first Party Secretary General Tran Phu.

 

The book gives short reports on the careers and great contributions made by the secretaries general, praising the bright examples and sense of uprightness and honour of the communists.

 

Dien Bien opens new border gate to Laos

 

Dien Bien province has opened a new border-gate at Na Son – Huoi Phuoc.

 

This is the second border gate to Laos from the province; the first is Tay Trang.

 

The opening of the new border gate to Laos at Na Son - Huoi Phuoc will make it easier and more convenient for people on both sides of the border to trade and exchange.
