Hanoi rotates, appoints key personnel

Bridge – The Hanoi Permanent Party Committee on April 16 announced the rotation and appointment of many key positions. Other rotations of officials will be conducted this year.

 

“Hanoi considers personnel as its break-through task this year so from now to the end of 2008, there will be many other rotations of officials,” said Hanoi Party Secretary Pham Quang Nghi.

 

Officials rotated and appointed to new positions comprise:

 

Director of the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment Trieu Dinh Phuc will be Party Secretary of Thanh Tri district in the 2005-2010 term.

 

The Party Secretary and Chairman of the People’s Council of Thanh Tri district, Dao Xuan Mui, will become Vice Head of the Hanoi Anti-corruption Steering Board for five years.

 

Vice Party Secretary and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hai Ba Trung district, Nguyen Van Suu, is appointed to be the new Deputy Director of the Planning and Investment for five years.

 

Nguyen Manh Cuong, Vice Party Secretary and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tay Ho district, will become the Chief of the 1,000th Anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi Steering Board.

 

Phan Tien Binh will no longer be Vice Head of the Hanoi People’s Committee Office but Vice Party Secretary of Hai Ba Trung district in the 2005-2010 term and the acting Chairman of the district People’s Committee in the 2004-2009 term.

 

Dang Vu Nhat Thang, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Long Bien district, is designated as Director of the Ta Ngan Project Management Unit for five years.

 

Nguyen The Binh, Vice General Director of the Hanoi Transport Work Co., Ltd., a state-owned one-member limited liability firm, has been appointed Deputy Director of the Ta Ngan Project Management Unit for five years.
