VietNamNet Bridge - Vietnam and Cambodia have agreed to exchange k nowledge and experience for studying and making policies towards martyrs and w ar invalids , social evil prevention, hunger elimination and poverty reduction, and other social polices in the 2007-09 period.
The agreement was reached in a meeting between Minister of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Hang and visiting Cambodian Minister of Social Affairs, War Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation Ith Sam Heng on Oct. 17 in Hanoi.
During the talks, the two sides also agreed to exchange working delegations to strengthen cooperation between the two ministries which will contribute to the Vietnam-Cambodia relations.
Minister Ith Sam Heng said his ministry plans to expand cooperation with non-governmental organisations and relevant agencies in the region, including the Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
The two delegations at the meeting informed each other of socio-economic achievements made by each country and exchanged experiences on implementing the two ministries' tasks in order to contribute to boosting economic development and social stability.
