Hanoians welcome Moon Festival in heavy rain
17:25' 26/09/2007 (GMT+7)

VietNamNet Bridge – Hanoi streets last night were fully crowded with people who went out to welcome the moon, even though there was no moon but heavy rain.

As activities to welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival at entertainment centres in the city were cancelled owing to rain, Hanoians rushed to the city’s hub, causing traffic jams on many streets like Ton Duc Thang, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Pho Hue, Hai Ba Trung, Hang Bai and Hang Ma, etc.

Heavy rain didn’t affect the atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival. VietNamNet Bridge brings readers a set of photos about the rainy Mid-Autumn Festival 2007.
