According to her previous schedule, the Czech girl was to arrive in Vietnam on June 8. However, she arranged her work to come to Vietnam early.

On June 2, the two Misses World and representatives of US-based RAAS group visited poor people in Tien Giang province and Can Tho city.

On June 3, they went to the central city of Da Nang to prepare for a parade of ancient vehicles in the ancient town of Hoi An. They will go to Hoa Vang district to inaugurate 50 charity houses and present 100 gifts worth 50 million to poor people.

Miss World Indonesia 2009 and Miss World 2004 Maria Julia Mantilla Garcia (Peru) will also come to Vietnam to participate in the charity programme.

In October 2006 Tatana Kucharova surpassed 103 other contestants to win the Miss World 2006 crown in Poland. Miss Vietnam 2006 Mai Phuong Thuy was Vietnam’s representative at that pageant.
