City circus artistes to perform in Taiwan

Fifty performers belonging to a HCMC circus have received invitations to perform in Taiwan.

Forty from the HCMC Circus Troupe left January 22 for the International Circus Festival in Taipei at the invitation of the Taiwan History and Culture Park. They will perform aerial silk, contortion, hooping, and act as clowns.

They will be in Taiwan until February 17.

The same day 10 others from the same troupe left at the invitation of the Taiwanese Stars Co.

They will perform hooping, juggling, double trapeze, and acrobatics along with artistes from Mongolia and the Philippines.
