VietNamNet Bridge - The first flower fair titled ‘brilliant Da Lat’s flowers’ opened in the morning of December 20 on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Da Lat City, under the framework of culture week to celebrate the 115th anniversary of the city’s establishment and development.

The flower fair, the first of its kind in Da Lat city, provides favourable conditions for businesses, communes and districts to introduce and advertise Da Lat flowers.

Both sides of the street are filled with 30 booths of flowers from the management board of Da Lat market, the Farmers’ Association, people’s committees of communes and districts, and enterprises in the locale.

Visitors have the chance to enjoy the perfume and beauty of Da Lat’s outstanding flowers such as roses, carnations and orchids and other activities, including flower car decoration, a flower arrangement competition, and night festivals for flower garlands and coloured lanterns.

Later, in the evening of the same day, the Lam Dong Tourism, Trade and Investment Promotion Centre inaugurated Xuan Huong park at 4 Tran Quoc Toan, Da Lat City. The 4.5ha park, near Xuan Huong lake, costs over VND2 billion, sourced from Quang Thai Co. Ltd., and the East Asian Joint Stock Bank.
