Foreign sculptors register for Hue Festival 2008

VietNamNet Bridge - Sculptors from 16 countries around the world have registered to participate at the fifth International Sculpture Camp to be held during the Hue Festival 2008.

The fifth International Sculpture Camp, themed “ Hue – Vietnam 2008’s impression”, will also see the participation of eight Vietnamese artists.

Foreign sculptors from the UK, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the US, Japan, Peru, France, the Philippine, Thailand, China, Australia and Italy will be given the chance to visit local historical monuments and landscapes.

The previous four International Sculpture Camps organised by Thua Thien – Hue province have showcased a total of 116 works, demonstrating the artistic friendship between Vietnam and people around the world.
