Bridge - A beauty contest for dairy cows will take place on October 14 in Moc Chau plateau in the northern province of Son La, the largest dairy cow breeding area in Vietnam.

According to Nguyen Canh Hoa from the Moc Chau Breeding Dairy Cow Company, 70 ‘contestants’, which have been selected from 3,500 dairy cows of 530 farmer families will participate in the pageant.

To enter the finals on October 14, those ‘contestants’ have to pass two qualifier rounds on appearance, growth, quality and quantity of milk.

This is the fourth pageant for dairy cows held in Moc Chau. “Miss Cow” will win a banner while its owner will receive a cup and cash.
