Hanoi: hundreds of artists to take part in Tet parade

VietNamNet Bridge – On New Year’s Eve, artists in Hanoi will surprise the public by taking part in a parade starting from Ly Thai To Garden, and ending at the Hanoi Opera House square.

The parade will begin at 7.30 pm.  This programme will be jointly organised by the Department of Performing Arts, Vietnam Exhibition Centre and Hanoi Department of Information and Culture.   

 

With the title “Preserve and develop national characteristics in the integration age”, the parade will be participated in by traditional music artists, models, children as well as representatives of foreign embassies in Vietnam. 

 

Also at the Hanoi Opera House square, a musical show will start at 9 pm with the participation of Central Theatre artists and prize-winning singers of TV music contest Sao Mai Diem Hen (Gathering Place of Morning Stars).  This show will include interesting performances such as dragon dancing, water puppetry, choruses, a fashion show named “Dong Ho Legend”, as well as a fireworks show organised by artists from Ha Tay Province.
