VietNamNet Bridge – The rehearsal of the Gala Dinner APEC 14 will take place this evening, October 16, at the National Conference Centre.
More than 300 artists from central art troupes will participate in the performance to welcome chiefs of state to the 14th APEC summit.
Music and dance will be major items of the art performance at the Gala Dinner, said Le Ngoc Cuong, Director of the Performance Art Department of the Ministry of Culture and Information, General Director of the performance part of the event.
The Gala Dinner includes three parts: guest welcome ceremony, documentary films briefly introducing the 21 APEC member countries and music performances. The event will last for two hours.
The show will present traditional songs and music items selected from different regions of Vietnam as well as world classical music works.
Artists of central art theatres have practiced for the past one month for the success of the Gala Dinner APEC.
