The contestants looked brilliant in the four-coloured aerobic suits.

But not for too long.

They still have to exude their feminine wiles and benevolent manner this week while the judges take their time selecting Miss Friendship.

The title Miss Friendship and other prizes will not be announced until the final round on Saturday night.

Yesterday, on the silky beach of Hon Ngoc Viet (Vinpearl) Resort in Nha Trang City in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa, the contestants looked brilliant in the four-coloured aerobic suits they adorned themselves in for the Miss Sport category.

Thirty-four young women were divided into two groups who competed in rounds on the beach and in the ocean. The candidate had to run, play basketball and roll a fabric wheel.

In the athletic category candidates were judged on sportsmanlike conduct. All pre-final competitions (Miss Photogenic, Miss Swimsuit, Miss Sport and Miss Friendship) will be shown on VTV3 at 10pm from tonight till Friday.
