VietNamNet Bridge – After three days of competing for the Miss Beach title, today the Miss Vietnam hopefuls will run for Miss Sport.

The competition has two events: beach basketball of Vinpearl and the other one is water polo.

The 34 entries are divided into two teams for the first game. Then the winning team will be split into eight smaller teams of two candidates each. These teams will play water polo with scores to be marked for each team member.

Many of the beauties have played a number of different sports. Some are coaches such as Dam Thi Ly, a volleyball coach at Central Highlands University, and Tran Thi Kim Thanh, an aerobics trainer in Vinh Phuc province.

These challenges should not prove too hard for them, said Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, a candidate from Hanoi. All of them are confident about their sporting abilities.

However, it does not mean that the highest scorer will be named Miss Sport, as the competition is judged on “friendliness”, which means that a candidate who shows the best teamwork ability as well as relevant skills in sport would be the ideal Miss Sport.
