The giant vase.

VietNamNet Bridge – With 200,000 coconut shells, the Binh SVC Company set the record for the biggest vase in Vietnam. The vase was given to HCM City to display in the City’s History Museum.

The vase is named “Hung Dynasty History”. It has 5,000 patterns and drawings depicting life in ancient Vietnam. The vase was sold to a Taiwanese businessman, Chen Li Shun, at the price of VND500mil. The money raised was given to the poor in Phu Yen.

Chen then gave it to Phu Yen province authorities as a gift. They then decided to give it to HCM City to display in the City Museum of History, where there is a temple for Hung King – the first king in the history of Vietnam.
