VietNamNet – Nguyen Duy Chan will offer a new photo exhibition to Hanoi called “Movement”, which is backed by the French centre for Cultural Cooperation with Vietnam, L’Espace.

Shooting the movements of human bodies was just a passing fancy for Nguyen Duy Chan at first. His passion in the shots grew into the desire to develop it into a complete collection for an exhibition.

Chan shot from the wings of many stages, collecting photos of the movements of actors and dancers in motion, to portray “the colourful life and beautiful feelings”.  Many of his photographic collections have been shown locally over the last three years.

“Movement” is a collection of 29 photos. In it, Chan presents both four-tone and black-white photos, which capture flashes of movement by actors and dancers.

Through his work he presents two arts: one is expression of feeling via bodily movements, and the other the photography that captures it.

The exhibition opens June 26 to September 8 at L’Espace. Entrance is free.
