Folk Culture Fest celebrates 995 years

VietNamNet – To celebrate the 995th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, the Hanoi People’s Committee last night held a Folk Culture Festival as part of the Sports and Culture Week.

‘Thang Long Festival Drums’

 

The event included 750 actors directed by People’s Artist Pham Thi Thanh and opened with a performance, “Thang Long Festival Drums”, by 160 drummers from the Thang Long Music Theatre, Vietnamese Dance School and a dance troupe.

 

The event will continue with various activities around of Hoan Kiem and West Lake.
