Hans Christian Andersen Gala set for next month

VietNamNet – The Embassy of Denmark is set to hold a gala event in Hanoi on 2nd April at the Hanoi Opera House to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birthday of Hans Christian Andersen.

 

As part of the worldwide Hans Christian Andersen bicentenary celebration, Vietnamese and Danish artists are to join together in an evening of fairytales at the Hanoi Opera House.

 

Among the performers are the two Vietnamese Hans Christian Andersen goodwill ambassadors Le Khanh and Thanh Lam.

 

The gala show will contain no less than four world premieres, created by both Danish and Vietnamese artists. They will entertain with both existing and newly created performances in theatre, music, and ballet, all based on the beloved fairytales of Hans Christian Andersen.
