Vietnamese children will take part in the Mikan Enikki (Mikan's Illustrated Diary) contest held by the Mitsubishi Committee for Public Affairs, the Federation of Friendship Clubs and UNESCO in Japan, the Ministry of Culture and Information revealed.

Mikan Enikki depicts daily life in each nation in the Asian region.

This year, Vietnam's Mikan Enikki Committee has launched the Our Lives on Earth contest, running through the 2003-2005 period.

Twenty-two masterpieces that won grand prizes selected from 49,896 entries from 22 Asian countries have been on exhibit in Hanoi from March 18-24.
