Le Vu Ky, Trinh Kim Quang, Pham Trung Cang, former Vice Chairman of ACB, were also prosecuted.

On September 18, the Board of Directors of ACB had a meeting and decided a number of personnel changes. The board approved the resignation of several members, including Chairman Gia, who resigned for health reasons; Vice Chairman Le Vu Ky who resigned for personal reasons; and Vice Chairman Trinh Kim Quang who also resigned for personal reasons.

According to the police, Gia, Ky, Quang, and Cang approved the police of entrusting ACB employees to use ACB’s capital to deposit at credit institutions, causing serious consequences.

Investigators also said that the four above people are co-conspirators with Nguyen Duc Kien and Ly Xuan Hai (arrested) on charges of deliberately acting against state regulations on economic management, causing serious consequences.

Investigators also said that Gia, Ky, Quang, and Cang have good records and actively cooperated with the investigating agency, etc. Considering the nature and extent of violations of the law, they should only be banned from leaving their places of residence granted bail.
