Jamie McNulty posted a note on Facebook calling for help to find her dog named Milo which went missing from Phong Nha River House on July 29.

The woman said in her posts that many friends and dog-loving communities in Vietnam have shared her posts and contacted her to help.

"Please keep sharing my Vietnamese friends," she wrote in a status on August 3. "Call 01669 616 308 with any leads. We aren’t giving up on finding him yet. Keep Milo and all those searching for him in your prayers."

McNulty confirmed that they haven't found Milo with Dtinews on August 6.

"My husband flew to Vietnam from America to look for him, but has not been successful," she said. "He found a man recommended to us online and the man helped him search 60 small slaughterhouses in Hanoi. My husband said it was awful. They found no clues about Milo. He then travelled down to Quang Binh to search there but has not had any luck yet."

The US woman said that the dog was kept by her friends in Quang Binh after she and her Vietnamese husband left Vietnam with three other Vietnamese dogs to the US.

"We know that keeping dogs safe in Vietnam is very difficult but we were surprised Milo was stolen during the day," she said.
