The ring has sold around one thousands of stolen motorbikes to China and Cambodia

The ring is divided into seven groups which have members in many different cities and localities across the country. To date, the groups have stolen and sold around 1,000 motorbikes to China and Cambodia.

After buying the stolen motorbikes, Dinh sold them to Nguyen Van Dung who lives in Quang Ninh Province’s Dong Trieu District. Since late September this year, Dinh sold nine stolen motorbikes with ownership papers to Dung.

Earlier in September last year, Lang Son Province’s police arrested five people who were trying to sell stolen motorbikes to China through the border gate of Chi Ma. They said that they had bought the motorbikes from Dinh.

Another group in Mong Cai border gate area in Quang Ninh Province led by Do Van Khoa has also been arrested while being found to sell the stolen motorbikes to a Chinese partner.

Meanwhile, the group led by Ha Van Dung who lives in Hanoi’s Son Tay Town used to sell motorbikes to Cambodia. Since late 2016, they sold hundreds of stolen motorbikes to Cambodia.
