Russia to build nuclear technology center in Vietnam

 VietNamNet Bridge - The Russian government will build nuclear science centers in Hanoi and Da Lat city, in Lam Dong province, in the Central Highlands.

The Voice of Russia quoted engineer Alexander Kulakov, chief project, as saying that Russia will build a reactor of 15MW for research, with all accessories in Da Lat. The establishments in Hanoi will include a computer center, a laboratory complex, systems and equipment to ensure safe operation.

The design team has taken into account climatic conditions and geological complexity of the both selected places, because most Vietnamese territory is in the area of frequent seismic activity.

"We use solutions to enable works to bear the strongest aftershocks," Kulakov said.
