Worlddidac 2008 to take place in Vietnam

Bridge - Over 120 World-class brands of educational materials and technologies from 22 countries will be displayed at Worlddilac Vietnam 2008 to be held at the Hanoi International Centre for Exhibition (ICE) in Hanoi from December 3-5.


The event will provide an opportunity for those involved in education work in
Vietnam and the region to get themselves updated on educational technologies.

Visitors will also have a chance to witness innovative products from the Worlddidac Award Winners including Promethean Limited from
UK, Positivo Informatica from Brazil, and Matriz Multimedia Ltd.from UK.

Juliano Fontes Fornasaro, marketing director of Positivo Informatica Company said that
Vietnam will become a potential market for educational products in the next five years. He expressed belief that the event will be a useful playground for his company to strengthen cooperation with Asian partners and seek other potential distributors.

At a working session with the sub-committee of the organizing board, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thien Nhan said he is glad to know that there will be an international exhibition on educational technologies with a focus on developing
Vietnam’s education sector.

On this occasion, Vietnam National Education Leaders Forum will also be held with the attendance of more than 600 delegates.

The event has received support from the Ministry of Education and Training, the SEAMEO Regional Training Centre (RETRAC), and the Wolrddidac Association.
