VietNamNet Bridge – Educators will be given the chance to view the latest advances in teaching equipment when the Ha Noi International Centre for Exhibition hosts Worlddidac Viet Nam 2008.

The two-day fair, organised by Reed Tradex, which is based in Thailand and Indochina, and partly sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Training, will open on December 3.

According to the deputy managing director of Viet Nam Reed Tradex, Chainarong Limpkittisin, Vietnam will need to invest heavily in education if the country is to meet its target of having 200 universities by 2010 and 450 by 2020.

Since 2006, 30 new universities, both State and privately owned, opened in Vietnam. The exhibition will have six zones - Digital Printing, Hardware and Software, Vocational Product Training and Vocational Curriculum, Multimedia Technology, Printed and Published Products and School Materials.

Among the main exhibitors will be firms from China, Germany, South Korea and the United Kingdom.

"We are confident that Worlddidac Viet Nam 2008 will benefit the development of the education system and help to raise the standard of education in Vietnam and in the region," said Chainarong.
