Three Vietnamese retailers listed in Asia-Pacific Top 500

VietNamNet Bridge - Three Vietnamese enterprises have been listed in the 2006 Retail Asia-Pacific Top 500 by the Retail Asia, the regional trade magazine, which is read by about 60,000 readers in the retail and supply chain industries.

Ho Chi Minh City Commercial Cooperative Union (Saigon Co.op) received the gold award, while the Saigon Jewelry Holding Company (SJC) won the silver, and the Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint-stock Company (PNJ) got the bronze. All of the Vietnamese awarded enterprises were from Ho Chi Minh City.

The awarding ceremony was held in Singapore on Oct. 20.

The Retail Asia-Pacific Top 500 lists the 500 top performing retail companies in 14 economies (Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam).
