Vietnam Airlines posts annual growth of 17% in revenue

Vietnam Airlines has recorded an average annual growth of 17 percent in revenue over the past five years, contributing VND2,966bil to the State budget.

 

The figure was reported at VAC's emulation congress in Hanoi on August 8, attended by 300 delegates from its various subsidiaries.

 

The national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, has carried more than 22mil passengers over the 2001-2005 period, surpassing its target by 3.1 percent. The corporation has also set the target of becoming a strong economic group by 2010.
