Single pricing for national and foreign visitors at tourism sites will be applied

Municipal and provincial people's councils have a new fee schedule, governed by a recent Ministry of Finance circular.

The schedule promotes adoption of single pricing for both national and foreign visitors when entering tourism, historic and cultural sites. Fees have been set at VND15,000/adult and VND7,000/child, with charges to enter recognised world heritage sites not exceeding double these charges.

The circular also sets the ceiling for a number of other duties. The social security fee is capped at VND5,000/month for non-business families and VND20,000/person/month for business households, while the environmental hygiene fee is maximised at VND2,000/person/month or VND20,000/family/month.
