Nation fights against A/H1N1 super bug

VietNamNet Bridge – Super flu has spread to every province and city in Vietnam with nearly 1,200 cases being recorded and 304 of them testing positive for the A/H1N1 virus on October 13.

The amount of cases has drastically increased since early September this year (20 positive cases a day at a peak).

* The northern province of Ninh Binh has detected 2 pupils infected with the super flu virus. Local health workers are disinfecting their schools, doing check-ups on other pupils and asking them to wear gauze masks when going to class.

* The southern Binh Phuoc Provincial Health Department on October 13 confirmed 305 cases with 1 fatality.

In the meantime the southern province of Dong Nai is facing with other dangerous epidemics such as dengue fever and diarrhea along with A/H1N1 flu.
